Megan Butler is VP of Clinical Operations at Forta, where she leads the teams that get families from a first phone call into active therapy.

She holds a Master of Public Health and runs the operational side of care: intake, insurance verification, authorization, and the coordination that sits between a family and their clinical team. It is the part of the process most families never see and most feel the effects of.

That work is the reason she writes about coverage. Most families are told they are covered long before anyone can tell them when they will start, and the weeks in between are what she spends her time on.
