About Forta Health

Our Story
Forta is clearing the path to quality healthcare by delivering the best possible outcomes with the utmost convenience. 1 in 36 children is diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum (CDC). Many of those children and families are seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, but for too many, accessing consistent, quality care is genuinely difficult. At Forta, we're increasing access to ABA therapy for those with autism and supporting their families through it.
Forta started in 2021 after a hard look at the barriers preventing families from accessing consistent, quality ABA. Month-to-year-long wait times. Inconsistent therapy because of scheduling conflicts. High behavior technician turnover. Limited access to parent training. We began investigating how machine learning and modern technology could remove those barriers and bring the already-successful ABA model to families who couldn't otherwise receive it. 1 in 31 children have autism — far too many are still waiting for the care they deserve.
Hundreds of parents have received and are still receiving ongoing Virtual ABA Therapy services across the country. Whether it's a parent getting their child into ABA for the first time, a family with no provider near them, or anyone tired of waitlists and insurance barriers, Forta is paving the way to quality care.
We're not only providing ABA services to our clients. We're also improving the quality of future ABA outcomes by building software and algorithms that elevate clinical decisions and surface the latest, most relevant case data for our clinicians. We continuously refine the patient journey, deliver personalized care, and invest in the growth of our world-class clinical team.
Clear the path to quality healthcare.
Offer the best possible outcomes with the utmost convenience.
Stand up for the people currently being let down by the traditional healthcare system.
How is Forta different from a traditional ABA clinic?
Traditional ABA clinics ask families to find a provider nearby, wait 6 to 18 months for a spot, and shuttle their child to and from sessions during business hours. Forta replaces all of that with online therapy delivered at home, parents actively involved in every session, and flexible scheduling that includes evenings and weekends.
Most families begin Virtual ABA Therapy with Forta within 90 days, instead of the 6 to 18 month wait at most clinics.
Experienced BCBAs and BTs deliver therapy through secure video sessions. No driving, no waiting rooms.
Evening and weekend sessions are available. Therapy fits the family's life, not the other way around.
You're in the session. You learn the strategies. Skills carry over to mealtimes, bedtimes, and everyday family moments.
Forta's online model delivers equivalent clinical outcomes at 30 to 40 percent lower cost than traditional in-clinic ABA.

What Forta stands for
Four values shape how we hire, how we treat families, and how we build our clinical practice.
Who does Forta Health serve?
Forta serves families of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, from early intervention years through adolescence. Five family situations show up again and again:
Rural families who live too far from clinics.
Families who want premium clinical quality without the logistics of a clinic, with schedule flexibility built in.
Families who don't want a stranger coming into their home and dealing with the revolving BT door of In-Home.
Parents who want to be deeply involved in their child's progress.
Teens who need age-appropriate, short-run therapy.
Virtual-backed In-Home ABA
As of 2026, Forta also offers In-Home ABA in select markets, with active expansion underway. Our In-Home model is virtual-backed: local BTs deliver care in the home, supervised and supported by Forta's nationwide BCBA network. Families get the consistency of local presence with the depth of our virtual clinical infrastructure.

Forta Health is a virtual healthcare company that delivers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy online to children diagnosed with autism. Founded in 2021, Forta operates the nation's largest Virtual ABA Network, with BCBAs and BTs running live therapy sessions through a secure platform. As of 2026, Forta also offers virtual-backed In-Home ABA in select cities.
Forta provides Virtual ABA Therapy for children with autism, end to end. Each family is matched with a clinical team, receives an individualized treatment plan built by their BCBA, runs daily or weekly sessions with their BT, and works alongside their clinicians as an active partner in their child's progress. Forta handles insurance verification, scheduling, and clinical supervision so families can focus on their child.
Every Forta family works with a dedicated clinical team made up of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs). The BCBA designs and supervises the treatment plan, monitors progress, and adjusts goals as your child develops. The BT runs the day-to-day sessions and coaches you through implementation between sessions. All clinicians are credentialed under standard ABA practice; BCBAs hold board certification from the BACB.
Forta provides Virtual ABA Therapy across 43 states. As of 2026, Forta also offers virtual-backed In-Home ABA in select cities, with active expansion underway. If your child has reliable internet and a quiet space at home, Forta's virtual service can reach you.
Forta is fully virtual, so there's no commute, no waitlist, and no clinic hours to work around. We deliver evidence-based ABA at 30 to 40 percent lower cost than traditional in-clinic therapy, with parents actively involved in every session. Where Forta offers In-Home ABA, our model is virtual-backed: local BTs are supervised and supported by our nationwide BCBA network.
Most families start ABA therapy with Forta within 90 days of reaching out. The timeline covers insurance verification, intake, and assessment. That's significantly faster than the 6 to 18 month waitlists most families face at local clinics.
Yes. Virtual ABA Therapy delivered through Forta produces clinical outcomes equivalent to traditional in-person sessions, supported by research on telehealth-delivered behavior analysis. Active parent involvement, which our model requires, is one of the strongest predictors of skill generalization in ABA.
Forta works with most major commercial insurance plans and accepts Medicaid in many states. Coverage details vary by plan and state. Our intake team verifies your benefits before therapy begins so families know what to expect.
All families who are accepted into therapy will have the opportunity to receive group and 1on1 training with our BCBA team and training specialist.
That's the beauty of In-Home ABA: we work with your space as it is. Your therapist adapts to your home, not the other way around. A kitchen table, a living room floor, a backyard. Therapy happens wherever your child is most engaged.
Forta serves children and teens diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, from early intervention through adolescence. Treatment plans are tailored by age, with younger children receiving heavy parent-involved coaching and teens receiving age-appropriate, independence-focused goals.
