Supporting Communication in Non-Speaking & Minimally Speaking Children

Communication is so much more than spoken words, and every child deserves to be heard. For families of non-speaking and minimally speaking children, finding meaningful ways to connect can feel overwhelming, but progress is absolutely possible. In this webinar, Forta BCBA Mackenzie Condon explores how communication develops beyond speech and how ABA therapy can help your child express their wants, needs, and ideas in the ways that work best for them. We'll walk through augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), modeling techniques, and practical strategies you can use to encourage communication at home, at school, and in the community. You'll leave with a clearer understanding of your child's communication potential and simple, evidence-based tools to help them build on it every day.

Duration:
60 minutes
